Yes. You can not enter Furnavia 2026 before you are 18 years old. If you turn 18 during the convention, you can attend from the day you turn 18.

Yes! Statistically, about 50% will attend without any fursuit parts at all.

No, we do not sell separate day or early bird tickets. We are looking into the possibility to add day tickets for the future, but won't be able to do that this year.

You can upgrade to a sponsor until registration closes or they sell out. However, you can not automatically downgrade from sponsor to regular attendee.

No, you don't need to stay at the hotel to attend the convention.

The booking system will be available for everyone from the 15th of August and will stay open until September 30th.

Most conventions have a theme that changes from year to year. This year, the theme is related to trick or treating. This theme will affect the design on the merch and how the venue is decorated.

Yes, but we should have enough tickets. We will announce it if we get close to the limit.

No, we are not able to offer refunds at this time.

Yes. Except for the T-Shirts and Hoodies, all merch is produced in limited quantities ahead of time. If we sell out of something early enough, we might be able to order a second batch, but that depends on the production and shipping times as well as minimum order quantities.

None of the sponsor merch, nor staff merch, is available for separate purchase before the con. The spares will be available for purchase in the Dealers Den at con.

Yes, until registration closes. Some merch does have limited availability.

We plan on printing disability badges separately, for people with special needs. These can be requested on arrival.

Norway uses Norwegian Kroner (NOK) as its currency, and mostly operates with credit and debit cards. Check with your bank to see if your card is approved to be used in foreign countries. If you decide to bring cash, avoid large bills. Other currencies such as Euros will not be accepted.

The cart should stay active for 7 days before being cleared. This deadline extends up to a maximum of 20 days if you log in before time runs out (This functionality is not fully tested, so it might not work as expected). All unpaid orders will be cleared one week after the registration deadline.

No, all tickets have to be paid before arriving at the convention.

No, that is not possible. However, you can get your ticket now, then log back in and add merch at a later time, until registration closes. The hotel is also paid separately, closer to the convention.

If a cart isn’t paid within the deadline, the cart will be emptied, releasing the containing items.

Yes. We recommend always carrying a passport or government approved ID to confirm your identity when entering Norway. For age-restricted purchases such as alcohol or nicotine products, a photo ID such as a driver's license will usually work, too.

Currently no. The deal we have for the hotel is for the main days only.

Dietary restrictions will be collected in the hotel form.

You pay for a room. That means each room needs a room captain that will have to pay for the room and be the person legally responsible for the room.

After we send the list of rooms to the hotel, the hotel will send out invoices to the room captains.

Unknown at this time, since the hotel will be sending out the invoices for the hotel rooms.

The details are not complete on this yet. Previously, we have collected information about who stays in what room and sent lists to the hotel, but since we are at a new hotel, the procedure might be different this year. More details will be available when the hotel form is released.

The room owner needs to order early or late for the room to be reserved for it. It should however be possible for any of the roomies to check in to the room before the room captain arrives.

Technically not party rooms, but we do have a quiet wing so people that don't want the room next door to have a party, can get some quiet. Please keep the noise levels respectable and make sure the amount of people in a room doesn’t pose any risk in case of fire or other emergencies, and follow directions from security guards and hotel staff.

Most of the venue is wheelchair accessible. Let us know your needs when filling out the hotel form, and we’ll try our best to accommodate your needs. Our new hotel does have more handicap friendly rooms than the old one did.

Check in starts at 15:00, Check out by 11:00 (late checkout can be requested in the hotel reception upon arrival at an extra charge and is subject to availability).

No. Context: The government has proposed a “Tourist Tax” that municipalities with a lot of tourism can collect as a compensation for the increased infrastructure maintenance cost due to heavy tourism. The proposal is now approved with effect from 2027 for municipalities with a particularly heavy burden from tourism.

Please don’t. But if you absolutely have to, contact the hotel and ask them directly. On a more serious note, you are allowed to enjoy food and drinks in your private rooms. In the public areas of the hotel, you are only allowed to eat and drink goods purchased from the hotel bar, kiosks or restaurant.

Yes, this is possible. Both photo and video will be taken during the convention, and you might get included in those.

No, as the waiver says, you will be recorded by the on site media crew.
